JAMES E. COYNE: James Coyne is a member
of the law firm of Coyne, von Kuhn, Brady & Fries, LLC. Attorney Coyne's practice is focused in the areas of insurance defense, personal injury, professional
liability, products liability, construction and fire loss claims, municipal liability and commercial law.
Mr. Coyne obtained his J.D. cum laude from Suffolk University in 1974 and his B.A. from Tufts University in 1971. He is admitted to practice law in the
State of Connecticut; the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut; the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit; and
the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and the Council on
Litigation Management (formerly known as the Council on Ethical Billing). Mr. Coyne has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers, 2008.
Mr. Coyne also presides over private arbitrations and mediations throughout Connecticut.
Mr. Coyne was born in Chicago, Illinois and resides in Trumbull, Connecticut with his family.
